Daniel Lucas Melendez, 36, of Kennett Square, PA, passed on July 23, 2019. Born February 9, 1983, he was the son of Juan Miquel Melendez and Blanca Crespo Melendez.
He attended school in the Kennett Square Area School District. For twenty years, he worked as an appliance installer for ABC in Delaware and later worked with his dad, Mike and Sons Appliance, repairing appliances.
Daniel loved deep sea fishing, cooking, and hanging out with his family. He was very sociable, had a big personality and had the ability to always make you laugh.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Theresa Allen Melendez; two children, Lucas Daniel Melendez of Kennett Square, PA and Antonio Juan Melendez of Wilmington, DE; one stepdaughter, Sophia Marie Allen of Wilmington, DE; on sister, Jessica Reyes of Parkesburg, PA; one brother, Eric William Melendez of Kennett Square, PA, half brother, Juan Miguel Melendez Jr. of Honey Brook, PA, and a host of relatives and friends.
One daughter, Ava Margaret Melendez, preceded him in death.
